Stir-fried Tomato Slice Recipe

Stir Fried Tomato Slice Recipe
Introduction:
I have come to love tomatoes more and more ever since I attended the lecture that was made by a nutritionist at the fitness center.
Tomato is a vegetable that we all know and like. It can be eaten raw or cooked. It can be cooked into soups and processed into paste.
According to the nutritionist, tomato is a vegetable that benefits men the best. She warned the women in the audience who should observe their husband urinating. When they see that the husband’s urine flow gets thinner and more difficult, they should know that it is time to cook tomatoes for him.
She stressed that only when the tomato is cooked can it be put into full play as far as the prostate-protection is concerned. The most popular dish that Chinese people cook at home with tomatoes is “stir-fried tomatoes with eggs”. However, eggs are not one member of the vegetarian foods in my opinion (If you like, come to my Facebook page and express your opinion on this topic). So I found the following recipe without eggs, which will play the same role hopefully.
Ingredients:
Tomato: 2 medium sized
Seasonings:
Ginger: 2 slices
Mustard: 10 g
Sichuan pepper: 10 grains
Salt: 5 g
MSG: 5 g
Vinegar: 10 g
White sugar: 10 g
Peanut oil: 20 g
Preparation Work:
1. Rinse the tomatoes clean with water, chop them into thin slices of 5 mm in thickness, blend the slices with salt and reserve for 1 hour;
2. Put the wok on low heat (without oil), drop the Sichuan pepper grains into it and stir quickly, take the Sichuan pepper grains out and grind them into powder;
3. Mince the ginger slices finely;
4. Strain off the salty liquid from the salted tomatoes, and mix the tomato slices with Sichuan pepper powder, MSG, minced ginger, prepared mustard, white sugar and vinegar;
Cooking Steps:
1. Take the wok (cleaned after the previous step of the preparation work section), and pour the peanut oil into it;
2. Put the wok on high heat and go to next step when the oil is 80% hot;
3. Pour the seasoned tomato slices into the wok and stir quickly;
4. It will be ready for serving when the sliced tomatoes are softened.
Cooking Tips:
I didn’t cook this dish by following this recipe strictly because I didn’t get mustard, firstly. Secondly, I didn’t filter the liquid out of the salted tomatoes because I think it would be waste.
But next time, I will do things differently. I will get the mustard ready. And reserve the salt water for other vegetable dishes. The liquid sure can season them by adding some salty and sour flavors.
