Introduction:

In another pea shoots recipe that I introduced before, I found out that pea shoots are not my cup of tea because of the fibrous stems.

However, I thought there might be something wrong with what I did. So I wanted to try another recipe for this vegetable.

This time, I picked strictly on the ingredient. I removed as much stems as possible. Lol.

Ingredients:

Pea shoots: 350 g

Seasonings:

MSG: 0.5 g

Salt: 2 g

Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon

Preparation Work:

1. Select fresh, fat and tender pea shoots with thick stems, wash them clean and strain the water away;

2. Pour the oil into the wok, and put the wok on high heat;

3. Drop the pea shoots into the wok and quickly stir fry them for a few strokes;

4. Add in MSG and salt and stir until they are done.

Cooking Tips:

1. Before stir frying, you’d better immerse the pea shoots into boiling water or soup briefly. And then stir-fry them immediately after filter them out.

2. As you can see, this is a recipe that is as simple as a recipe can be.

It only involves one vegetable as the ingredient. There’s even no ginger and garlic. I bet everyone likes cooking this kind of dishes.
