Stir Fried Canned Corn with Tomato

Canned Corn Stir Fried with Tomato
Introduction:
Happy New Year to everybody!
As the first day of the year 2010, I cooked one bright-looking dish in accordance with the following recipe. I hope it will indicate for me and all of us a good beginning.
This recipe is going to involve two important ingredients. One is corn which is yellow in color. The other one is tomato which is red in color. Red stands for happiness. Yellow stands for harvest.
Therefore, this recipe includes our good wishes for the new year which is also a beginning of the new decade. Everything good starts from today with this dish.
Ingredients:
Tomato: 2
Canned Sweet Corn: 1 can
Seasonings:
Scallion: 1 tablespoon (chopped coarsely)
Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
White Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
Preparation Work:
1. Wash the scallion clean and chop it as instructed;
2. Rinse the tomatoes and slice them;
3. Open the can and pour the sweet corn into it, then sieve the juice out while reserving the corn grains for the cooking steps;
Cooking Steps:
1. Pour the vegetable oil into the wok and put the wok onto high heat;
2. Drop the tomato slices together with the sweet corn into the wok and stir fry for half a minute;
3. Add in salt and white sugar, and stir fully;
4. Dish it out;
5. Spray the chopped scallion on the steaming dish before serving.
Cooking Tips:
1. We leave MSG that is normally used for cooking out because this will make the finished dish taste fresher.
2. You can dice the tomatoes instead of slicing them. This will match the shape of the canned corn.
