Rice Porridge Recipe – Oats and Rice

Introduction to Rice Porridge Recipe with Oats and Rice:
Before we come to the recipe for the rice porridge of the day, we will introduce the oats which are the main and very important ingredients of this recipe at first.
Oats are not only edible, but also applicable. The following is a whitening mask made of oats.
The ingredients include two tablespoons of oats, three tablespoons of skim milk, and appropriate amount of water which can be determined by your personal preference. The upper limit of the water quantity should be such that the mask will not drip down the face when applied, though.
Then apply the mask that is fully blended onto your face evenly. The thickness of the mask depends on the preference of your own. But there should be not any part of the face being exposed to the air.
Clean the mask off 5 to 15 minutes later. The duration of the mask staying on the face should not exceed 15 minutes. This mask is applicable for mixed and oily skin.
After doing some facial, we need to fill our hunger now.
Ingredients of the Rice Porridge Recipe (oats and rice):
Oats: 30 g
Polished round-grained rice: 100 g
Seasonings:
White sugar: 10 g
Cool water: 1000 ml (milliliter)
Cooking process:
1. Wash the rice clean with clean water. And put the washed rice into water 30 minutes in advance;
2. Filter the rice out;
3. Put the rice into the boiling pot together with the cool water;
4. Use big flame until the water and rice boils;
5. Change to low flame;
6. When the porridge is half done, wash the oats and put the oats into cold boiled water, then pour them together into the pot. Stir the porridge evenly;
7. When the porridge is done, add in the sugar to season it. Then it is ready for serving.
Tips:
I love oats not because of the reason that they can be used for mask, but for the reason that they are good to chew. Chewing them makes my teeth feel weird in a good way.
You can use oatmeal in place of oats. This way, the porridge will become more sticky and you don’t have to chew much. And you don’t have to cook as long, either. It could save you minutes to a quarter of time.
