Stir Fried Three Veggie Slices

Introduction:

You will see what the three veggie slices are if you are curious to know after you read this title. They are three ingredients that are often used in Chinese vegetarian foods.

You might have found out that tofu and bamboo shoots are used in many Chinese vegetarian recipes listed on this site. And my girlfriend also complains to me often that the ingredients are really repetitive.

However, when we look at another angle, we will simply find that meat dishes are also very limited, even more so than vegetarian foods. There are only three categories of meat: pork, beef and chicken.

Ingredients:

Winter bamboo shoots, vegetarian ham and vegetarian chicken: 350 g in total

Seasonings:

Soy sauce: 10 g

Salt: 3 g

MSG: 1 g

Peanut oil: 1 tablespoon

Preparation Work:

1. Scrape the skin off the bamboo shoots and wash them clean;

2. Cut it into slices;

3. Slice the vegetarian ham and vegetarian chicken;

Cooking Steps:

1. Clean the wok and put it onto high heat or full flame;

2. Pour the peanut oil into the wok when it becomes dry;

3. Drop all of the three slices into the wok and stir fry quickly when the oil gets hot;

4. Add in soy sauce, salt and MSG, stir fry until they are seasoned;

5. Dish out and serve.

Cooking Tips:

As you may find out from the picture above that I have replaced the vegetarian chicken and ham with porous tofu and dried tofu. That is because I didn’t find out the exact products in the supermarket. You can use whatever you can find in the market that is located in your community.
